Throughout the past 7 years, Jazz Reckheim grew from a small local initiative into a community festival.

Our task was to give that growth an identity that matches it: one that feels warm and rooted, but unmistakably fresh and funky.

De Beyart is entering a pivotal phase. After laying the foundation in 2025 with a more human, consistent and recognizable employer brand.

2026 marks the moment to deepen, structure and scale their communication, both internally and externally.

The challenge.

Jazz Reckheim had built its reputation the honest way, on great music, a close-knit atmosphere and word of mouth, but its visual identity hadn't kept pace with that growth. The challenge was to reposition the festival with a fresher, more contemporary look that would earn attention organically, reaching an audience that had never even heard of Oud-Rekem.

At the same time, a new look on its own isn't enough. It had to translate into something people actually want to be part of, an identity strong enough to turn interest into a full house.

The solution.

We took Jazz Reckheim's identity back to the drawing board and rebuilt it from the ground up, starting with a new logo and a complete visual identity designed to hold up across every format the festival needs.

From there, we extended that identity across a full range of print and digital touchpoints: banners, flyers and booklets that give the festival a consistent, recognisable presence on site, alongside social media content brought to life with playful motion graphic animations of the logo and line up.

The result is a visual style that feels tangible wherever people encounter it, one that makes Jazz Reckheim instantly recognisable and gives the festival a look that's finally as memorable as its music.
